Founding Father Kash Shaikh to keynote at National Convention 2011

Philadelphia, PA, 7/19/11 – On behalf of Delta Epsilon Psi Fraternity, Inc. it is our pleasure to announce that Kash Shaikh, Delta Epsilon Psi Founding Father and Procter & Gamble executive, will serve as the Keynote speaker at the upcoming National Convention in Philadelphia, PA.

Kash, originally from Houston, Texas, is most notably known throughout our organization as the sole Freshman of the original 18 Founding Fathers at the University of Texas at Austin. He served as President of the Founding Chapter for two years, and as a sophomore was named “Student Leader of the Year.” Kash is also responsible for starting one our most well known events – Project Come Together.

Outside of the fraternity, Kash works for Procter & Gamble, the world’s largest consumer products company, and is one of the industry’s most respected leaders in Brand Building and Public Relations. He has led External Relations, Cause Marketing, and Social Engagement programs for iconic brands across the world, including Tide, Old Spice, Olay, and Ariel. Just a sampling of the honors Kash has received includes PR Week’s “40 under 40” and Brandweek’s “Marketer of the Year.

Most recently, Kash has unleashed a personal passion, called #besomebody. #Besomebody embodies the lifestyle and principles that Kash has learned from his travels, experiences, and relationships. Through #besomebody’s motivational blog and speeches, Kash hopes to ignite a “spark” within his audience, igniting them with the energy to unleash their potential and the courage to chase their dreams. His website mentions, “Life is short. Our dreams are big... And the clock is ticking..”

The #besomebody blog can be found at http://besomebodyblog.com and you can follow Kash on twitter at http://twitter.com/kash_shaikh.

We look forward to welcoming Kash as the Keynote Speaker at our Convention and are eager to learn not only about the history of our fraternity, but his outlook on life after the fraternity.
