Experiencing Greek Life
It is true when they say that being Greek is a completely different lifestyle. I have to say that the experience of being a neo is something that one has to experience for themselves.  Being a Brother of Delta Epsilon Psi National South Asian Service Fraternity, Inc. has opened up so many opportunities for me. I have the ability to meet so many new people from different organizations that I can make lasting friendships with.  The time and commitment it takes to be Greek, only allows me to appreciate my brotherhood more. I know that the effort that I put in helps not only my brotherhood but the community around me as well as The University of South Florida’s Unified Greek Council.

As a neo, I have attended many different types of events hosted by different Greek organizations and have been able to experience the different cultures that make up these organizations. Also I have to say that doing service with my brothers gives me the satisfaction of knowing that we are making a difference in somebody’s life and the community.

Like I mentioned before, being Greek is something one has to experience for themselves, it has only been a positive experience for me. I know that being a neo; I have met lots of new people, attended many great events and learned to appreciate life more.  I can say that I truly know the definition of being Greek. With the commitment I put into being a neo, I am able to say that I wear my letters with pride. I hope that everybody's experience as a neo, is as good as mine, and can take away from it like I did.
